Tea Party for Three Little M's

M has it kind of tough. She is the only girl her age in our ward/community. Everyone is either a year old than her or a year younger. A wonderful lady in our ward and I have been trying to get her daughter that is a year younger than M together to play. Well it finally worked out they could play. Our little M was invited to a tea party with the Little M that turned 4's Tea Party. There was also another little M who is almost three. They looked adorable and had a wonderful time. Here are pics of the Tea Party for the Three Little M's:

Our Cinco de Mayo Baby Turns 5 (Cinco)

I absolutely cannot believe that our little baby bug turned five on May 5th. She is so into stuffed animals it is not even funny. So I decided I wanted to spend the day with her and surprise her with a trip to the Gateway to Build A Bear. She was soooo excited. When she walked in she saw a puppy with rollerskates on and there was no changing her mind. That is what she wanted. She had a ball making it and dressing it up. She even named it Princess. She was smiling from ear to ear. It was a wonderful day spending sometime with her. I get a little teary eyed thinking how she has grown. She has always been my little baby bug and she has been my best buddy (except when I make her mad then she threatens to take that title way). She and I bonded so well when she was born and she has pretty much been my little best buddy. Not that she doesn't love her daddy cause she does. But we just got this special little relationship going that I hope never goes away. She is such a good sister to O and C.
Anyways, for the longest time she wanted to go to Chuck-E-Cheeses for her birthday then she decided that she could just go to the Fun Park in Logan. Well with all of that swine flu scare I didn't think taking my kids and the cousins to a place where kids run free possibly sneezing and wiping their hands on the toys was a good idea so she settle for a Cinco de Mayo birthday party at my parent's home after her soccer game. We had a way fun time and she was so excited to have her birthday party with her cousins. She thinks they are way AWESOME. She had a princess cake with I didn't clarify the type of frosting very good to the bakery so it was pretty but the frosting had the regular frosting on it and it was gross. Oh well it was pretty. She had a Dora the Explorer pinata and she got lots and lots of presents.

We love our little M and the person she is. She brightens our day. She loves life and is such a little girly girl but isn't afraid to get muddy either. She always has a dirty face. In fact I think everytime you wash it two minutes later it is dirty again, but that is just her. Given the chance I think that she would live in water. She is such a water baby. She wants to wear her swimming suit 24/7 and she is counting the days until the big slide pool opens for the summer. She is very tender hearted and she loves her sister and brother so much. She is a bright little stink but she has to work at her school work more than you would think. She loves playing princesses and would eat cereal and peanut butter and jam sandwiches everyday if you let her. She is our little baby bug and she will always be. We love you M.

His Favorite Place in our Home

C has a new favorite place in our home. The back door leading out to the patio and where he can see the girls playing. He pounds on the door in hopes that someone will please take him outside. He loves it. You put him on the ground and he flies over to that door and starts a pounding. He loves being outside.

Look Who Has Moved Into the Maxfield Home

A couple weeks ago I walked outside and their was a string or fiber from like a tarp hanging down out of the sky and I thought what the heck. I looked up to see that a bird has made itself a little nest "home" out of our timbers in front of our home. J decided to just leave it. Which is okay until you open the door and a komakazee robin tries to fly through the front door. And it leaves not such a good mess on our porch. Oh well...

Easter 2009

We had a wonderful Easter this year. The kids had a ball. On Saturday we went to the Tremonton Easter Egg Hunt. We then were invited to the annual Kidman Easter Egg Hunt and Party. We are so lucky that they have let us be part of their lives. Our kids just love Garth & Veda to pieces. It was a wonderful afternoon and we sure have missed Veda since she passed away. The kids were excited for the Easter Bunny to come on Easter morning. We went to church and then to J's parents to have our Easter lunch arind egg hunt at their home. J's dad left for Africa a couple days later so it was good getting to have lunch and spend time with him before he left. We then ran out to my parents for lunch with my family. We love our families so much and are blessed to have each one of them in our lives. All in all it was a great day. But I want our kids to know that its not about all the candy or the Easter Egg Hunts or the Easter Bunny. Easter is about the sacrifice Christ made on behalf of all of us. I know that he died for us and suffered for our sins. I am eternity indebt to him for the sacrifice he made for me and my family and all of mankind.

Ever Been Parasailing... Behind A Four Wheeler?

So we went for a little Sunday drive today and I don't know what exactly triggered my memory but I started remembering when we went parasailing behind a four-wheeler with a wonderful friend/co-worker of mine. Frank was into this type of parasailing and when my husband and brother-in-law heard about it they just had to go. So Frank arranged for us to go parasailing. I believe it was October '05. I found some pictures of our adventures. We had a great time. Except when it was mine turn the boys weren't holding on to the parasail for long enough and the wind picked me up and carried me backwards towards a stack of hay and HWY 30 (Petersboro) with semi's coming. Yikes.. They should have had Frank's daughter help one of them, but they are guys. Anyway it took a little more courage on my part for them to get me hooked back up. But I did it and it was great! It is a great memory. I am glad I did it when I had the chance cause it is probably something I will never have the opportunity to do again. J just said we need to go again!

Oh M... You Are So Much Like Your Mommy

Oh my little M. She is so much like me it is almost scary. Sometimes I think that we are two peas in a pod. Tonight we were watching movies and we rented Hotel for Dogs. It has a little sappy sad part in it and of course little tender hearted me has tears rolling down my face. M was sitting/laying by me and I look over at her and she has big ol' alligator tears rolling down her face too! I told J to look and he looked over and started laughing. It was probably a good thing that she feel asleep two weeks ago during Marley & Me. Oh my she would have been sobbing along with me.
